Is it an unpopular opinion to think that if you dislike someone and can fully and rationally and reasonably explain why, you have the full right to try to avoid excessive contact with him or her?
Through unresponsiveness or less-than-enthusiastic-or-bubbly social interaction, there are veryveryvery few people I try to let know I don’t particularly enjoy their presences, but I’d think it respectable if they could understand that and let me alone as well, so we could have this mutual relationship of placid, mature toleration.
